At the Annual General Meeting of Axon Group plc to be held at 11.00 a.m. today, Mark Hunter will give the following update on trading:

“I am pleased to report that 2006 has started well. We continue to progress towards our goal to be the global leader in the delivery of SAP-enabled business transformation programmes for large corporations.

Consultant chargeability is excellent, margins continue to improve and cash generation has accelerated.

Our US business goes from strength to strength and it is now over twice the size of the acquisitions we made in the last 12 months. Europe continues to perform strongly, and we have successfully completed the restructuring of our Middle East business.

The strong start to 2006 means that results for the full year are likely to be at the upper range of market expectations.”
